Built in 1960, Designed by Freeman, French and Freeman for the late Dr. and Mrs. John G. Davidson Insert link to Why we’re here today this Southern exposure, Frank Lloyd Wright / Art Deco style building, has been designed to maximize its 100 mile view of the Green Mountains of Vermont, the famous Valley of Vermont and the Taconic Mountains of Massachusetts and Vermont by using very large fixed picture windows. This 5 bedroom bi-level estate has five full private baths all with ceramic tile, one with a whirlpool and one half bath off from the attached two car garage. The grand living room with its vaulted ceiling and enormous picture windows has a large stone fireplace with its own service elevator for firewood. A large dining room, it to with enormous picture windows, has a wall full of built-in cabinets made from the finest mahogany.
